Dear
Reader,
Henri-Oh's
Total Fitness & Karate Center serves as the home of
the North American Kyokushin Organization (NAKO). NAKO
is totally independent and autonomous from all other groups
or organizations that are using the name Kyokushin Karate.
Yet, NAKO enjoys a worldwide healthy relationship with
instructors, branch chiefs and heads of various different
organizations. NAKO boasts the largest number of schools
where Kyokushin is taught as well as the largest number
of student body under one leadership within North America.
Its
members and affiliates travel internationally to train,
to offer guidance, to referee and/or to compete. Among
NAKO's greatest strengths are its ability to foster positive
relationships among its members and associates as well
as its ability to promote growth and harmony within its
membership base.
NAKO's
membership base grows monthly attesting to its ability
to meet the needs of the progressive Kyokushin practitioners
with whom it is associated.
The
headquarters of NAKO is housed within close to 10,000
square feet of space at Henri-Oh's Total Fitness &
Karate Center. The Center is co-ed and equipped with some
of the latest in health and fitness equipment. The Aerobic
Program at the center rivals that of any in Manhattan
or at the most prestigious clubs in New York. Personal
Training is offered by trained and certified instructors
who undergo continuous performance review and upgraded
training. Amenities of the center include locker and shower
facilities, independent ladies and men's steam rooms,
massage (by appointment) including a variety of other
services.
You
are encouraged to share your thoughts with members of
NAKO, with other martial artists or other groups. We ask
only that you keep the comments on a positive note and
that no disparaging remarks be made towards other individuals,
styles or groups. All are welcome.
Thanks
for viewing the site and I hope you will make many more
visits. Please share your thoughts with us.
Thank you!!!!
Kancho
